Brent and Jessica had a wedding of epic proportions. The wedding did not have hundreds in attendance or lavish decorations because that was not Brent or Jessica. This wedding was humble. Although every detail was perfectly planned. From the amazing first look outside of the Michigan Theater to the beautiful wedding + reception at Frutig Farms. Still this wedding was was oriented around family and friends.
So, back to the the first look. We had no idea what we were in for with this. Although, it is moments like these that allow us to create. We find that if we plan we might be more apt to play it safe. Sure things might go smoother but, being pushed is what we need. Robyn and I are not risk takers. We very much like to play it safe. As a result when Jessica informed us that Brent was waiting in his car with forty plus balloons we kind of stuttered, gripped our cameras, and went along for the ride.
Positioning was easy. Getting the shoot we had envisioned moments ago. Not so easy. You see there must have been a Pokemon stop at the theater. It seemed liked every person stopped, stared at their phone, and then moved on. So the first look you see below with balloons flying away is actually a composition of six images and countless hours of work.
After that took a few photos in the bustling downtown and then off to Frutig Farms for the ceremony and reception.
