Let us start back at our first meeting with Megan and Danny. We met at a small coffee shop in the suburbs where they used to frequent. It was an old home converted into a coffee house. Much like their Whitney mansion wedding just on a smaller scale. We arrived early as these small shops have a tendency to fill up rather quick so we could grab a seat, but as we waited and waited it appeared as nearly everyone was there for the long haul. Not a soul moved and it was dark and quite loud. As Megan and Danny arrived we shuffled to a small area to towards the corner of the room and maneuvered some chairs. As the guy next to us began to strum his acoustic guitar we quickly resorted to speaking louder and louder.
Well despite distractions the meeting went very well and we could not have gotten along better. Now fast forward a few months to their engagement shoot around Detroit. Although it was cold we walked the streets, laughed, and had an amazing time. Little did we know towards the end of the shoot in Greektown we stumbled upon the bar at which they met. So we settled in for a drink and finished up the shoot.
With their Whitney mansion wedding coming quick we hit the streets scouting but we were not prepared for the amazing wedding that was about to happen. From the beginning of the day to the end we were in love with how effortlessly they coasted through the day. So much of weddings are rush and stress. For them it was all about friends and family celebrating. From the speeches to the jewish traditions.
